Property owners in Phillipsburg could end up paying about $269 more in property taxes to support the town’s expenses, according to the 2024 budget presented by Mayor Randy Piazza last Wednesday.
The $23 million spending plan includes roughly $20 million and $2 million (a 13% increase over 2023 spending and 9% decrease from 2023, respectively) in non-discretionary spending and discretionary spending.
